Editorial photography covers a wide range of subjects within the broad spectrum of the human condition — the unfolding of life or stories in general. In short, it’s many things, but never about selling or advertising.
Reportage captures events as they happen — sometimes candid, sometimes with the full knowledge of the subject. Optimally, it unobtrusively documents or narrates a moment in time, usually including humans.
Street photography can be art, inquiry of a place or of people doing something — going somewhere, sometimes watching or just occupying a place — captured during a chance encounter with the photographer.
Special projects can be anything of a personal interest — a visual essay on the human condition, a disturbing staged parody, trying anything, experimenting with the creative journey — using photography and an honest eye.
